For their 2024 Annual Convention, the South’s oldest and largest regional economic development association (SEDC) will convene in historic Savannah, Georgia. Since the event venue is on the water, the Savannah River was key to both the logo and the accompanying new age vintage travel poster. Overall, the aesthetic merged old with new, and traditional with modern: historic buildings and moss filled trees were simplified into geometric shapes; a traditional serif font was paired with clean illustrations; and a bright salmon pink pops vibrantly off shades of river blue… a visual homage to Savannah’s famous Rainbow Row.
