I dig City of Canton’s logo—clean, playful, effective—yet can’t take credit for it. I have, however, enjoyed extending this aesthetic to other City pieces, such as Canton’s 2023 Year In Review. Content wise, this piece showcases major events and statistics from the past year. It’s a point of pride, accomplishment, and service seen through the many facets of the City, including Parks and Recreation, Creative Economy, Community, Infrastructure, Leadership, Business, as well as, the launch of Explore Canton. All these parts come together to form the whole of Canton. Similarly, the design connects these areas via the river which flows from page to page. Plus, the use of large images and graphic stats allows the City’s hard work to shine.
